Heather Ranoa (ASST Coach)Heather Ranoa came onto the mountain bike scene in her late twenties and fell in love with the sport. Her first race was a 24-hour team event and she was hooked! Heather spent six years as a top-level professional mountain bike racer, winning the California State Championship in both Cross country and Super D.
Alongside her husband, Jason, Heather is the co-owner of SoCal Endurance Race Promotions, which puts on some of the most popular races on the west coast, including the Vail Lake Triple Crown, the Big Bear Triple Crown, and the SoCal Enduro Series. Heather is a certified personal trainer with many years of experience helping all levels of people achieve their fitness goals. She has trained both adults and youth, including her time working with athletes at the SoCal Performance Lab. Her positivity and love for sport make Heather one of the best in the business. Heather spent 3 years in the United States Army, where she was a member of the 82nd Airborne Division and met her husband, Jason. In addition to her many professional accomplishments as an athlete, coach, and trainer, Heather has volunteered her time and experience as a NICA coach in the SoCal league working with and inspiring youth to ride bikes for life. Heather considers her two wonderful children Cheyenne and Calista her true claim to fame. |
